musicjunki.es for communities
Run a Community hub for your scene, collective, venue network or city — connect Artists and Fans, host Events, and earn when members on paid artist plans grow through your hub.
Who & why
Who — Scene builders, collectives, venue groups, labels, promoters, and anyone who already connects local artists and wants one home for roster, events and discovery.
Why — A community page gives you a branded hub on musicjunki.es: artist roster, events, portal promotion, and tools to grow the network you already curate — without needing your own artist or band page first.
What you get
- Community Basic (up to 50 members) — events, artist roster, portal promotion, member kickback program.
- Community Pro (up to 150 members) — everything in Basic plus donations, advanced tools and analytics.
- Expert bundle — already on Pro for your artist/band? Add a community at half the standalone price in one renewal.
See community pricing for current rates.
How it works
- Create your account and choose a Community Basic or Community Pro plan (or an Expert bundle if you also need artist/band pages).
- Set up your community page — name, branding, roster and events.
- Invite artist and band members to connect their pages to your hub.
- Promote events and roster through city portals and your public community URL.
Artist and band pages connect to communities; community owners manage the hub. Member caps apply per plan tier.
How community owners earn
Every paid community plan includes our member kickback program. When artist or band members on Starter or Pro subscribe while connected to your hub, you earn revenue share.
Referral kickback
Member was free or new when they upgraded while connected to you. Starter referral: up to €12 year 1, then €8, then €4/year. Pro referral: up to €24 year 1, then €16, then €8/year.
Member wallet share
Member was already on a paid artist plan when they joined your community. You receive €4/year wallet (2 community slots × €2). Slots fill in join order; if a member leaves, the slot opens for the next community.
Kickbacks reserve when a member pays, clear after 3 months, then pay out quarterly. Applies to artist-track plans only — not when someone buys a community plan itself. Your own pages never earn kickback on your own community.
Community owner guidelines & rules
Community hubs are curated spaces for music-related scenes only. As an owner you are responsible for your roster, events, and how members experience your hub. By running a community you agree to the following:
- Only create communities for real music scenes, collectives, venues, labels, or promoter networks — not generic topic pages, spam brands, or non-music interests.
- Keep your hub name, branding, and description accurate. Do not impersonate cities, festivals, artists, or other organisations you do not represent.
- Approve roster members fairly: only active artist or band pages that meet platform criteria (social link, photo, description, music-related content).
- Do not pad your roster with fake, duplicate, or inactive pages to inflate member counts or kickback earnings.
- Respect plan member caps (50 on Basic, 150 on Pro). Do not bypass limits by creating duplicate communities for the same scene.
- Community owners cannot join other communities as artist/band members — only artist and band pages connect to hubs.
- Events listed on your hub must be music-related and accurately dated; cancel or update listings when plans change.
- Kickback and wallet earnings follow platform rules: no self-dealing (your own artist/band pages do not earn kickback on your community), no manipulation of join order, and no incentivised fake upgrades.
- Community Pro donations require a valid OPP wallet and compliance with our payment and acceptable-use policies.
- If you abuse the hub for advertising unrelated services, harassment, or non-music content, we may suspend or remove your community without notice.
- If your community violates our Privacy, Terms, Acceptable Use, or these guidelines, we may restrict publishing or delete the hub.
Flagging inappropriate communities, roster entries, or events. Users and visitors can report violations via the feedback button (bottom right) and choose Flagged Content. Owners should also remove or reject content that breaks these rules.
